This review is not about the quality of work they do, they're as good as anyone else. It's about their shady business practices. First off.. this business is a great place for rich people to spend their money. The business engages in the classic 'Bait & Switch'. The other classic tactic Dr. Olson uses is to charge a ridiculous amount for a consultation.. $250. This fee is not refundable but you can apply it towards a procedure. At the consultation, no matter what quote they give you for your procedure, you're self pressured to go ahead and accept it because you don't want to lose the $250. $250 is an unethical amount to charge for a consultation. The amount they charge for procedures is overly inflated. Since the Advanced Plastic Surgery Institute moved into their big fancy building their business has been more about one thing.. profit. After all, they have to pay for that big fancy building. My advice is to go somewhere else, somewhere where your best interest is truly at heart.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Josh Olson and his team at Advanced Plastic Surgery Institute. From start to finish, everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. The facility itself is beautiful and very clean, which made me feel comfortable right away. I traveled over 1,800 miles from out of state for my procedure, and the communication throughout the entire process was excellent. Dr. Olson and the nurses were always responsive, informative, and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. I’m so glad I chose this office and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a procedure!

I may be the only person to write a review for APSI who never actually got their surgery done but I feel like I still need to review the Dr. and staff. The same week I was supposed to have my implant swap surgery, which had been in the works and planned for 5 months, I diagnosed with breast cancer. I was shocked and in a fog, confused and fearful and was still completely in the dark about what I was facing. My carefully planned life just took a 180. I forget the name of the woman who called me to check in the day before my APSI surgery was supposed to happen. I had just left my first doctors appointment where the imaging confirmed my irregular mammogram as cancer. She was so caring and told me she would check back the following week but to not worry about a thing on their end. When I talked with Patti the following week, she prepared a full refund check in less than a day for every penny I had paid, including my original consultation. She gave me a hug when I picked it up. She even sent the sweetest hand written card a week later. I wasn’t expecting a complete refund. It may seem like the “right” thing to do considering my circumstances but I’m sure they weren’t legally obligated to refund the costs they already incurred. Dr. Olson is obviously an extremely skilled plastic surgeon. It’s why I chose him. But he and his staff are truly top notch, caring individuals as well.

Krista is one the few people i feel comfortable with near my face and with needles. She is so kind, patient and understanding during my appts. She listens and takes the time to make sure im happy and get the results i desire. I highly recommend her and the whole team. She an angel..
