After being delayed 2 months to get an appointment time, we finally got into the clinic. The environment is what I’d call a ”Typical” clinic, after waiting 43 minutes behind scheduled appointment time… we finally saw a provider. Maybe if the clinic focused less on cosmetic anti-aging treatments (see their “Fresh face for Father’s Day” special going on) maybe we would have more available appointments and more time allocated to the medical patients needing treatment. Our provider Jonathan (NP) was professional, courteous, and established a plan of care. Jonathan was great! Leaving was bizarre, as we were required to speak with a woman on a virtual screen, to check out. That was a first for me at a clinic visit. Overall, it was a typical clinic experience
My husband and I had a very positive experience at A to Z Dermatology. Dr. Jonathan Alvaro and his staff were so accommodating, professional and took time to answer any questions or concerns we had. Dr. Alvaro was so caring and personable. Highly recommend he and his staff.
I recently went to A to Z Dermatology. From the initial phone call, which they made to me. As a Specialist it always seems to be a month or so to get an appointment. They got me in right away. The lady at the front desk was very sweet. Greeted me professionally. I was taken back to the room within 5 minutes of getting there and I was even 20 minutes early. The nurse was very kind and thorough letting me know what their procedures were and the Dr. ,D r. Helen made me feel informed throughout the whole exam. I was asked if they could take pictures and that they were going to do a biopsy on the affected area. The whole time I was there no one made me feel uncomfortable and I was informed each step of the way as to what they'd be doing. I went back for the follow up and was informed what it was and was prescribed some medication as well as a lotion that would help the itching. I have been back 2-3 times and each time was seen right away and treated with the utmost respect.
Mike was fantastic. He made a scary situation into a pleasant one and made it a lot less stressful. He was very patient and caring. Mike and Twila worked with me to fit treatments in my schedule and were very accommodating making changes when needed.
We've been coming to this office for around a decade with no issues. Then this year my insurance decided to deny a medication. It was a painful 6+ weeks of back and forth, but the pain was all on my insurance side. I want to thank the office manager Mary for sticking with us and supporting us. She never got tired of my calls or follow-ups. I would highly recommend A to Z for the doctors AND the amazing office team.
